Static Nature is an artist book released alongside Soler Santos’ solo exhibition at Blanc Gallery, Philippines in 2023.
This project was handled by me, from end-to-end, beginning with multiple artist interviews, the book’s essay (as well as translation from Filipino to English), and layout, utilising the grid, which features heavily in Soler Santos’ work.

Each section is divided by an opening spread.
Each spread features one work, displayed in full on the right, and segmented into some of its details on the left.
For portions of the text that retained the original Filipino from the interviews, translations in English are supplied alongside it.
The sculpture pages are supplied with different views of each sculpture.
The first print run was in editions of 300, with a limited edition print for the first one hundred copies. Each of the 300 copies were signed by the artist.
The book comes with a white slip case.
